Home in Fire
"My Home in fire" is a video installation based on the personal story, when the houses of the Bahai's as a targeted religious minority in the city of Shiraz in Iran was burned down.
The piece has been created to shed light on one of the spots in the long history of harassment on marginalized group of people in religious minority who had to leave their country and find a new home in exile, because home is not safe anymore.

There are different ways that we conceptualize borders and exile. One aspect of the border exists inside of us. The situation will perpetuate itself in a new time and space, if there is no mutual understanding on accepting otherness.
This video has been made in a minimalist style Inspired by the poem of Roumi: Opposite is made manifest by opposite, for the sight fell on the light, then the color appears, since there is no opposite for God, he would not appear in our sight.
